hey guys,
i send in my i-140/i485 along with those for my wife. as luck will have it, I forgot to include her sealed i-693. i am planning to send it tomorrow with a cover letter. is that okay? is there anything else I can do?
I will appreciate any help.

Only send it after you get a receipt notice....Else, I am sure it will get lost....USCIS has said in its latest FAQs that it will not reject the 485 packet if it doesnt inlcude the medicals....So wait till you get a receipt notice and send it with a copy of the receipt...

Is letter from employee needed for filing I-485 for my spouse. I filed I-485 under EB3 last August and it's still pending. She takes my PD and my PD will be current in May. I have an old letter from my employer when filing my I-485 last August but was wondering if a new letter from employer is needed or the old one would do.

How about employment? Can the approved I-797 for green card be used for filling in I-9 for employment? One can think of various situations where this might be useful. Say you have renewed your EAD/H1B that is expiring, do you file the new I-9 with new EAD/H1B or show the I-797.

These aren't anything special, but I'm dying to post something while I try to make up my mind about what to do about getting my transparencies into the computer.
All taken with a Kodak DX3500, but I've not figured out how to do my edits in Photoshop without destroying the EXIF. :confused:

It's only IV members. We did decide on few things last time, We have some new ideas, to talk. Obviously we need more people to carry on with the efforts...There are several private bills that are being placed in the queue as well as I see a separate bill for foreign nurses is coming up for discussion, we I feel we should talk to our lawmakers to bail us out of the EB-3/EB-2 India/china messWho other than IV is expected or invited in this call? Is there any law for disabled immigrant. I am 33 years old, and I am disabled, and I am here in US from 1998. I really want to settle down in one place, and it does not matter whether it is India or America but I think I have to make a choice right now, or my future will be a big question mark.
I have waited for a long time, thinking future will be bright, day by day I dont feel I will get my Green Card, So as my lost option I am wondering whether there is any option for disable immigrant? Any help is appreciated.

Yes, as long is there is a 140 or 485 pending some where some place or a Labor pending for more than a year, you are eligible for h1 extension beyond 6 years.
My first 2 extensions after 6 years were based on a labor from previous company.

Probably this is a case of processing error. The I-485 was denied based on I-140 denial. I would try for MTR on the I-485 with I-140 status.
