    Since the lower background is dark, I think it works well. The blossom really stands out with a feeling of depth, just the right DoF. There are two points on the left (probably sepals from the next blossom?) that are a little distracting to me, but that's a nitpick.

    I got my FP done a couple of weeks ago at the Dallas ASC on the scheduled date. Have noticed from other threads that people have gone to other ASC at an unscheduled date and were able to get it done. I think you can go as well and explain your situation if they object. If they are not too busy that day they might let you in; guess the hours are from 8AM to 3PM. You can try to be the first one in the morning. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes for the entire process. Good Luck!!

    That is may not correct. Stuart Anderson was never a lobbist. But he did play a key role in AC21 law. Back then Stuart was Legislative Director for Sen. Abraham (R-MI). Stuart worked with key staffers across the aisle to recapture and pass other favorable provisions in AC21. In that sense, Stuart always had a front row seat to witness things unfold in front of him. This is what makes his book so unique.

    According to the website, Stuart is Adjunct Scholar at CATO institute and he is executive director of another policy institute called NFAP.

    Why not petition a GC for your mother and son? You are a US citizen petitioning their parent. It should be a fast process. And your son, if born after you became a citizen, might be entitled to US citizenship. I encourage you to talk to an immigration lawyer. I'm sure you have many options available to you.

    Nice story Freddy....Good sequence of shots. Do I see Juan Valdez and his mule in one of the shots? A good example of making your pics tell what you want the viewer to comprehend with any second guessing.

    With the possiblity of the annual spillover coming up soon, wanted a quick poll to see the upcoming PD distribution within the IV community. EB2-India and waiting for adjudication only please (we can start another one for EB3-I & ROW)

    USCIS provides pending 485 inventory
    DOS issues demand data used for monthly visa bulletin calculations.

    When these informations are now available, there is no use/need for a poll of this kind. It boils down to why take sample data when you have complete data provided by USCIS and DOS.

    If you have the valid H1b stamped while your 485 is pending and got RN,FP done,you should not have any issues in POE.So are you done with your FP?? Its always safe you wait for FP and finish it and then decide your travel plans.

    I travelled after 485, got h1b stamping , came baack and recently my checks also got cashed and am looking for the Reciept Notice also.

    I did not have any issues anywhere.

    For FP - you just have to make sure someone is checking ur mailbox so that you will know when FP date comes, and you can postphone FP to a later date when you return

    I work for a Government Agency as a H1 employee, I have my EAD as well but dont use it. I am sure the attorneys made sure that its ok to hire a H1 as an employee. Now I am doing an AC21.

    Reg. ques 2 - Let me rephrase it

    This is my wife's first H1B which is valid for 3 years ( started in Oct 2005 - Oct 2008). If she does COS to H4 now (June 2008) and if she plans to COS to H1 next year (Lets say March 2009), then will her new H1 application still be considered against the H1B cap (cos her first h1b must have expired in Oct 2008)?

    Where can I find the 2005/2006 Memo ?

    Need a web designer

    I'm looking for a web designer that could possibly help me redsign my website. I need him/her to be pretty familiar with Flash and animation.

    Website will contain:
    -photo gallery (photos provided)
    -video clips (videos provided)
    -community member profiles
    -membership "join" form
    -graphic effects
    -guest book
    -music/sound effects
    -a lot of animation and graphic motion

    The site will be formatted a little differently from normal sites, so be ready for a long explanation when you contact me. It's going to be a personal website and I have a fairly low budget. This won't be an easy project, but if you can pull it off...it will be a good project to have in your portfolio.
