I'm very happy that the people running DailyTunes have agreed to delete songs for the person that originally posted the songs. Thank you arn and mudbug! :)
I am quite dismayed however, at the flak I've gotten from people who just can't understand: 1) why I would change my mind about a song and, 2) why I would want to delete a song. Is this symptomatic of a society of control freaks that think if THEY can't conceive of a reason for doing something then that something must not be allowed? I'm reminded of Al Gore's recent remark about "digital brownshirts".
Let me give an example. If you notified the credit bureaus that your credit report contained false, derogatory information would you prefer that the credit bureaus merely place a disclaimer beside that false information? Of course not! You would want that derogatory information deleted, never to be found again. Why? Because you know that prospective lenders, landlords and employers reading that derogatory information will still be influenced by it, even if there is a disclaimer.
Well, a song posted in the DailyTunes data base is nowhere near as important an issue but the principle is the same.
While I congratulate DailyTunes for striking a note of freedom, there are countless other data bases out there which contain your digital footprint and you have no way, short of an act of Congress, to get that data deleted. The internet is still a very new aspect of our society and I think it is important that we proceed carefully and err toward the needs of people. Perhaps this episode serves as a cautionary tale for those who choose "the system" over freedom.

The current MacBook I have is the 2008 unibody. It was the initial launch unit for the switch to the aluminum casing.
But I see your point. And as I previously said, the iPad isn't a replacement, but more of merely an interim solution, and a chance to purchase something I was in the market for to begin with.
I would really appreciate some input on how to go about doing this. Believe me, I hate wasting money just as much as the next person, so I appreciate the concern. But I feel confident with my decision thus far, and hope to remain so.
So if anyone has any advice for how to do this transition best, it would be much appreciated.

Hey
Theres this song that goes roughly "I'm so ____ na na na, you're so ____ na na na"
I thought it may have been by Lily Allen but can't find it on youtube.
Any ideas?
(I'm actually looking for a song with this tune in it, may be a remix)
Thanks in advance

Is this the first iPad 2 jailbreak? If so, why aren't more people commenting..? This makes me suspicious.
Also, is there a Windows version if this is for real?
And finally, as I'm not totally sure about this, does a tethered jailbreak just mean that when you restart the device you have to connect it to iTunes to get it back online? Are there any other drawbacks? Because I never restart my iPad so I was thinking that if this is all that tethered is then it wouldn't be an issue? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Don't fool with a tethered jailbreak EVER... unless you're just testing out stability, apps, or you plan on being in front your laptop 24 hours a day...
that's the only drawback!!

There's this awesome show called "MythBusters" and they tested this theory out-- it is true, using the AC kills fuel economy when compared to just having the windows down.
Two SUVs were used; exact same specs, model, everything... Same exact amount of fuel put in and one driver blasted the AC the whole time while the other drove w/ the windows down. They drove around and around an open race track. Although the data was screwy nobody could deny the truth because the AC using SUV rolled to a standstill over a half an hour before the windows-down SUV did.

I'll be queuing for a 64Gb 3G model, but I spoke to the guys in the Eldon square store and the centre only gets unlocked for staff to come in at 7am so if we arrive earlier we get to queue outside the centre itself rather than the store which makes me wonder which entrance others are planning to wait at.
I'd probably go for the Newgate street entrance near Debenhams! Could maybe called Eldon Square C/S see what they say! If we can get in at 7:00 i think it would be pointless arriving much earlier and it just be the case of faster pair of legs gets first place in queue. At the iPhone 3G launch in the metrocentre we were there from 5am and people came hours after us and just everyone ran for it when the security let us through

I don't think that the music would benefit from having a DAC after it being sent over the air via airplay.
It would, the AirPort Express DAC is dreadful.
When you say you couldn't get the music to send via Airplay, do you mean just by playing out of different speakers/an Airport in iTunes?
I wouldn't touch Airfoil with a long pole in terms of sound quality. It messes with the data, or at least seems to...
