I just got home with my shiny new iPad2! The line was incredible -- it went from the Apple store down to Nordstrom and had looped all the way back to the Apple store by 5:00. I estimate 300 people or more.

Yeah, what's stupid is that I was probably the first or second person to look at this thread. Should've bought the damn thing.

Good call Wacky, I forgot that part. And to Ivabign, you came to the right place to ask a question. It's a shame there are so many d-bags on here who get offended that you don't spend your days studying the iPhone manual.

Hello,
Has anyone here got any ideas on how you might make this...?

Would macromedia flash be the way to do it?(:
thanks,

OK thanks for the info. Here is the old acoustic guitar I had mentioned. Its been in a few places in Spain (where it was made), Sandton (South Africa), Qatar (middle east) and a few places in the UK. I think it still looks pretty good considering its life:cool::

Nice, it reminds me of the iTunes logo. Very minimalist, which I like.

Hi all,
I have tried to activate my iPad with an o2 microsim that got delivered today. I followed the instructions on the pamflet provided but I could not activate the sim. I think the iPad was previously activated with 3 but from my understanding I thought all iPads were unlocked.
I get the error message: 'The SIM card inserted in this iPad does not appear to be supported.'
I've been up to the o2 store today and again a different sim did not work. This led me to believe that the problem lay with it already being activated on another network (3).
Any resolution to this would be superb as I'd love to use the 3G on the iPad, preferably with o2, I was going to order a 3 microsim as they had none in the store to see if it worked.
Thanks

Just hit XBL and PC today its about 800 MS points which i was shocked considering the last add On. this goes into detail on the infamous shadow broker Mention in both games, adds Liara as a playable charachter and 5 new achivements. Just a heads up its a big DL 1.52 Gigs. I will add my thoughts to it once i finish this up.

... I would still argue that wealth creation is the best way to combat it.
Wealth creation?
If Florida became uninhabitable and Mexico become unarable there'd be a tremendous loss of wealth.
How is a person who loses his house or farm going to have the means to move to Canada to start all over again?

TonyC28 is right. Follow his steps and she will have all of her photos/text messages on the new phone.
But there is one more step you may want to do before making the backup. To make sure all of her Apps get onto the new phone, you'll want to make sure they are all on your computer. If she bought some of them on the iPhone, they don't always get moved onto the computer automatically (it depends on how iTunes is set up). After you open iTunes, click File->Transfer Purchases from xx's iPhone. This will transfer all songs/movies/apps that she purchased/downloaded with her iPhone. It may not be necessary, but it can't hurt.

Notice the extra " at the end. That can definitely cause issues.
I also recommend running your page through the HTML validator, which can help identify these kinds of problems.
Thanks. Well noted. I ran my site through the HTML validator and used the HTML-Tidy function to clean up my mark up. It seems the missing "alt" values is what is causing the disjointed presentation of my site on the Firefox browser. It says *PLEASE DESCRIBE THIS IMAGE* under the problematic images that require specific "alt" values. However, I am not sure what values to put under the "alt" sections of each of these images.
You can take a look at my site using Firefox to understand exactly what I am talking about. My site is called www.designosauronline.com
Here is the mark-up after using HTML-Tidy:

The only update you would see this year is if Intel gets Ivy Bridge out and Apple decides to implement it this year... which just means processor spec bumps, nothing really major considering you are unlikely to be fully utilizing the current processors.
At some point you are going to have to buy it... if you wait until later this year they could upgrade it again 6 months later in the spring. Basically what others have said, if you need it now, buy it now.
I can understand why a lot of people would wait if a refresh is coming within the next month or two, but the lineup was just refreshed 2 months ago... waiting now is pretty pointless.

No. The X1900 is 25% stronger. The Quadro's only good point is the extra ram. Its not worth the extra money.
Hello (again) 300D.
We already talked about this. Where do you get the 25%. Tests have shown that the card is about as fast as the 7800.
